Interesting perspective on Joyce's sojourn in Rome - he hated it but it gave him the seeds for the germination of many themes in Ulysses.
I have some problems with Terrinoni's mastering of words, an imprecision here and there, a lack of quality that worries me terribly from Joyce's latest, celebrated translator. Reading his accompanying novel is not helping in dissipating my suspects about his effective linguistic gifts...
