This could have been good if the author had actually gone into detail for each of the case studies. Mainly this reads like a series of quick summaries with little to no detail. Maybe a 'forensic focus' to archaeology and anthropology is 'new' in France but I've read enough popular science works from the UK and the US for this to be the norm. Most of these case studies could be expanded on, details about the tests done, hypotheses suggested and tested, photographs, etc.

The translation was show more clear and understandable which is the only good thing going for this book. show less
