Bunny and his friends play a game of hide and seek, and Bunny is "it." But just as in the fable, Bunny rushes through to find his friends, not looking carefully. Readers will delight in pointing out who Bunny misses in his rush. An exasperated mole fills that role in the story. Although no explicit reference is made to spring, the illustrations show a riot of colorful flowers on each page, and the simple text is great for read-alouds.

A little fawn is curious about winter and children can follow along as the fawn plays in the snow and experiences all of the joys that the snow and winter has to offer. It is easy to read with only two words on each two-page spread and young readers will love reading along. I would recommend this for any collection. The illustrations are sweet.

What child wouldn't love a story about a bear. This particular bear has lots of personality. He expresses himself when he is happy and sad. He slumps around when he is bored. A bear can even be curious when he encounters a turtle for the very first time. A bear can be hungry and sniff out a treat that is sticky and sweet.

The book does a very good job of showing what it looks like to love. Love isn't just giving hugs and kisses, it is spending quality time with someone close to you.
