The GIANT Encyclopedia of Science Activities for Children 3 to 6 : More than 600 Science Activities Written By Teachers by Kathy Charner
The GIANT Encyclopedia of Science Activities for Children 3 to 6 has more than 600 activities to be implemented in the classroom; however, the activities are geared more towards making a craft or making a snack to eat instead of actual science experiments. Although I did come come across some new activities to try in the classroom, I would not use this book on a regular basis because it requires an enormous amount of teacher preparation and participation while the children only have a minor show more part.
Overall, this book does not support that the process is more important than the product and does not fit into our philosophy of cultivating lifelong learners. show less
