This magazine appeared in the late 1950s, and is here presented as a reprint of the whole series, in the style used for the reprint of John Willie's 'Bizarre', which was published just before 'Exotique'. It is a superb series of short stories, photographs and drawings directed at women who enjoy subjugating men and their male (and female) partners who enjoy being made to submit to being dressed in 'extreme' clothing. Unlike 'Bizarre', corporal punishment of the submissives is completely show more absent, their 'punishment' being solely via the humiliation of wearing tight corsets, tight thigh-length boots, wickedly high-heeled shoes and boots, and glamorous stockings. The dominant women portrayed in the images included wear malevolent and determined expressions. The magazine (and its omnibus) is focussed securely on devotees of this tightly specified fetish. Unusually for Taschen, the print quality is not of the highest quality, a result of the process of using book-stall quality originals, but this is unavoidable. There is no doubt that the book is a necessity for the bookshelf of this variety of submissive and their dominants. show less
