I believe this is a book that older more emergent readers should read. Not only does it incorporate imagination and magic, but it will remind these students to not take life so seriously. Bridge to Terabithia tells the story of two unlikely friends who imagine an entire world, where they only exist with fictional characters. This book will excite its young readers and make them feel as if they are apart of "Terabithia". However, this story will also introduce its reader to experiencing loss show more when Leslie dies and Josh is left to deal with the world they created alone. show less
