A film starring Daniel Craig (Universal, 2021).

Someone with inexplicable resources wants to release deadly nanobots.

C (Indifferent).

The first act is pretty good - lots of action, and you don't know what's going on with the story yet, which is flattering for this story. The second act is all politics and conspiracies and tedious. The third act is a remake of Dr. No, except with an ending that's so misguidedly serious that it plays as comedy.

Hadn't watched this in a long time. It's not the best James Bond by a long way but it passed a few hours in lockdown.
This film was entertaining enough but about 30 minutes too long. And where was the humour? Bond usually has at least some humour but sadly lacking in this. Not a JB I'd like to watch again.
James Bond kicks ass and plays cards.

The first part (James Bond Kicks Ass) is all kinds of amazing. The second part (James Bond Plays Cards) slows down a lot, but is still good. The third part (James Bond Doesn't Know the Movie Isn't Over Yet) is pretty bad. Even the action scene at the end is a sloppy mess.
