Boo came to live with a mother and adult daughter when he was 8 weeks old. Boo was full of energy and loved investigating everything in his new home. He also loved snuggle time in the mother’s lap. However, as much as Boo loved living in this comfortable and caring home, he found life was restrictive. Boo decided he needed to communicate that he needed to be in a different place. Boo knew that he could trust the adult daughter that had brought him home to help him.
I love this story. I’ve show more read it many times, and I know it’s a story I’ll read again and again. Love. Trust. Faith. We don’t always understand why things happen. Sometimes, we feel lost when things turn out differently than we anticipated or even spend time carefully planning. With love, trust, and faith, we can set doubt and worry aside and be guided by faith and prayers to an outcome that is more precious than we could have imagined.
The beautiful illustrations add to the enchanting and meaningful children's picture book.
The possibilities to open dialogue with children through books are endless…
• Read aloud during storytime in a Christian child care center.
• A Christian school teacher sharing the story with a class.
• A Christian school guidance counselor sharing the story with a student.
• A mother, father, or older sibling reading it to a son or daughter or younger sister or brother.
• Independent reading.
• The book may also offer the opportunity for discussion about how animals communicate with humans through non-verbal communication and/or if humans sometimes communicate non-verbally with one another.
Reviewer's Note: I am thrilled to introduce this children’s book via my review as I have the lifetime blessing to know Barb, her family, and their felines and canines, past and present. show less
