My 8 and 10 year-olds collaborated to write the following review:

"It was a very funny book and I could read it over and over again and it would still be very funny. I had a lot of fun reading it. I liked the illustrations and that sometimes they show what he thinks he is hearing said. Thank you for writing this book!"

This was definitely a fun one to read out loud to them and it had some age appropriate grossness that we all got to laugh about as well. I imagine most kids would really enjoy this!

A fun and thoughtful children's picture book. Harold hears many things wrong that result in some funny interpretations. I read it to my young sons. It really resonated with my child who has dyslexia and often mishears words. He could relate and liked the funny nature of the book.

This is a fun children's book that shows how important our hearing is and how easily we can misunderstand what someone has said if we don't hear correctly. My grandchildren thought it was hilarious. This book has a great title and illustrations that children will be attracted to and want to read.

They kept laughing when I showed them what a bundt cake pan was and then we baked a cake in it! They loved the cake!

A young boy named Harold does not hear so well. The book follows him through a school day to home as he humorously mishears everything.

Harold hears so many funny things, including what he thinks is the type of cake his mother has made. The ending made me laugh out loud.

This book isn’t a series, but it really could be. I would love to see Harold mishear more things while going to a zoo or a museum.

Young children from toddlers to elementary school will enjoy this story and get a kick out of show more this book. They may even want to help mom or dad make a butt cake with the recipe at the end. show less
