The book Rodents Rule! takes a different turn to delivering the facts to students. In this book the rodent tells the story and the facts. The book depicts the fears many people have concerning rodents, and shows the similarities and differences of many rodents. In this book students will learn where many of these mammals originated, what they eat, why they are good pets, how to take care of one, and many other interesting facts, on top of being entertaining.
This book also is an excellent show more tool to teach a lesson. The copyright page is written in a very inviting way with letters large enough that young students can visually read easily. There is a good Table of Contents, Captions, a Timeline, A Fun Facts Page, Words to Know page, Index, and a page to help students look up more information on the subject rodents.
I would recommend this book as a good teaching tool for elementary students, first through fifth. The Accelerated Reading Level is 5.3. show less
