1940 London and when Eve Duncan comes across a body the police having no time to investigate ask her to start the enquiries.
A quick read which doesn't make for a complicated mystery or too much character development. But still a nice story to start the series off.

An English country mystery similar to those I read as I began reading mysteries in the 60s and 70s. Eve Duncan is determined to find the identity of the body for this woman surely deserves to be remembered and mourned. A fast read!
