In this purportedly scientific play, string theory becomes nothing more than a pick up line. The play is more about the failure of relationships, and once again the scientist is portrayed as someone who simply cannot hold a relationship; of course, no one else in the play can, either, so maybe that's not so unusual. This play seriously fails the Bechdel test; there are two women, but they talk about nothing but men. Even when they discuss physics, it's about sex...discussing string theory as show more a way to get close to the physicist, which of course leads to sex. Overall, I'd say the entire mess was rather uninspiring and tepid. In spite of sex...boring sex? Absolutely. show less
