This is a sweet, charming book for young readers. I read this book on my computer screen. Yet, the illustrations still displayed wonderfully. They helped tell the story. I liked all of the different types and colors of squirrels. I am such a dog lover so I enjoyed Duke a lot. He was so precious trying to communicate and be part of the squirrel superhighway. The lesson that readers can learn from this book that being themselves is great is a nice lesson. Another plus about this book is that show more the words were not too big to pronounce that the older readers could read on their own and the younger ones for the most part with little adult supervision. show less
