When Kathy comes home from Alaska, she finds that Steve has developed some new interests and she begins to wonder about their relationship. She takes on private duty nursing clients in an effort to mark time while she figures out where her professional life is going.
My sister and I read this series in grade school and really loved them. This book follows Kathy through her "Probie" year at San Tomas nursing school in California. She faces both personal and family challenges and grows through them to move on toward her goal of becoming a nurse.
Kathy Martin and Kelly Jones spend a year in Sitka, Alaska, spreading their new-found professional wings. As always, a mystery occurs which they help to solve. Pleasant and fun.
Kathy's last year of nursing school is complicated by her acquaintance with a young blind man, which strains her relationship with Steve and interferes with her studies. Third in the series.
