An audiobook original, read effectively by Catherine Tate. Standard stuff - earth threatened by 'orrible aliens, Donna gets a brief romance, base under siege; what drags it down, unfortunately, is that the base under siege is Dover immediately before Dunkirk, and my suspicion of disbelief is rather shattered by the idea that an alien assault and massive loss of personnel would not disrupt the intricate planning of such a key operation. If you show more do a historical story for laughs, make sure it is funny; if you do it didactically, as is the point here, you need more verisimilitude than this. show less

The Tardis is crashes in the sea outside Dover right before the Dunkirk evacuation and are rescued by the military, only to find that something else crashed as well and that the parasitic Nemonite are looking to take over all human bodies to spawn their young. Very good mix of sci-fi and history and Catherine Tate does a good job with the voices, even if it's not one of her best. Quite enjoyable story with solid side-characters.
Catherine Tate is a wonderful reader. The story is pretty good, if a bit...icky at times.
A pretty good story of the Tenth Doctor and Martha Jones. Travel to an alien planet. Find someone in need of help. Get cryptic hints about the future. Kind of save the day. Pretty much a standard adventure. This story occurs before Utopia.
