Lycan's Blood Queen
By: Catherine Edward
*REVIEW* 🌟🌟🌟🌟
Lycan's Blood Queen is a bit different from what I normally read. I'm not a huge fan of vampires, but I decided to try this one anyway because it's not just all vampires. Mia is a magical being who may or may not be aware of what she is. No spoilers. She meets a guy, of course, and it's kind of a star crossed love show more thing. There are many reasons why they should not be together, but life has other plans. This is an interesting story with romance, drama, action and complexity. Place and time are nicely described, and the characters are engaging and dynamic. The plot is not predictable or boring. Overall, I was entertained and did enjoy the book. It's a good story to begin a series of romance fantasy, especially if you're like me and don't want a heavy handed vampire story. It's just a dip your toes in the pool and test the waters story. Does that make sense? show less
