The Klutz Book of Inventions by Brendan Boyle

This 200 page book of 162 bizarre inventions will have children laughing and discussing. From the tricycle lawnmower (for putting wasted play energy to work) to the helium-filled hide-a-bed (just jump off and it stows away conveniently) this book has real illustrations and descriptions of each strange, ridiculous creation. Ties in with inventions and simple machines in the grade 5 curriculum.

Recommended for ages 8 and up.
