Looking for Lydia Looking for God, is a book of stories about stories. Sounds simple, and it is, but the impact is powerful. I firmly believe that everything happens for a reason, nothing is circumstantial and people come into our lives WHEN they do for a specific reason.
The author Dean Roberston landed at the Lydia Roper house to touch lives and to open up a new story! As she discusses the bible weekly with a group of women at the home, she opens up lives, opens up eyes as they all learn show more to share and care. Integrated with the authors story of how and why she is at the home .....is the story of the indepth research into the life of the woman the place was named for. Just who was Lydia Roper and why is there not more known of HER life? It is a search for meaning, a search for God, a search for themselves and...a search for Lydia.
"We are all looking for that something we may or may not find, but the search for which, defines our lives."
