Mike Peters is a retired Army Air Corps officer with more than thirty years of military service. He is now a full-time military historian and Chairman of the International Guild of Battlefield Guides. Mike has published books on the Glider Pilot Regiment.

A heavy book (physically) - not bedtime reading! Printed on good paper with sewn sections, which is just as well as it would quickly fall apart if it had glued binding. Like most Helion books it is well printed and designed (except see Maps below), and the photographs are well printed.
Well laid out, but the Maps are stuck in the middle of the book as a colour section and not indicated as to where in the contents. Between pages 168 and 169 for the record.
