Over the years parents and carers of children with autism have come to the NAS for advice about particular behavioural problems, and as a result of this the NAS decided to produce this booklet for them. It includes tips on dealing with temper tantrums, toilet training, sleep and feeding problems, self help skills, obsessive rituals, challenging behaviour and self-injury. Also includes practical ways of coping that parents have come up with themselves, and shared with the Society.
