As a physician Robert Arthur did research for the neurophysiology and neuroanatomy of the skin. For the last decade he has lived on a farm in the quail and grouse shooting country of south central Pennsylvania. His technical interest in the shotgun has centered around the factors involved in shotgun accuracy. This book is the result of several years of intensive practical and experimental work with the shotgun stock.
