This was actually a really interesting dystopian tale. It was different from our current times enough that I didn't feel like I was reading real life (thank goodness!). I liked the characters and their development. But there were a few parts that were a struggle to follow. all in all, I liked it - I don't read a lot of dystopian these days (probably because of the weird times we live in) but I'm glad I gave this one a shot.

Julie did a really great job telling this story of what the future might end up looking like. I like how it really depicted how polarizing societies can be towards one another yet if offered hope of how there is the possibility of coming together. The ending took a nice turn that definitely leaves you asking "what happens next?".
