Spanning a hundred years from JFK’s grandparents to the generation of his grandchildren, this biography of the large Kennedy family is from the location-perspective of their summer home on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Most of the events were very familiar but the emphasis on place and the small community of Hyannis is immersive.
Actually I believe it should’ve been titled ‘The Big House by the Sea’
Very good non-Fictional Historical account of the Kennedys.
Nothing was held back in telling the good and the bad. When I was reading this all I could think of wasbThebSins of our Fathers.
You will have to read it to see what I meant.
Unfortunately my old mind certainly couldn’t keep all of the later generations straight. I listened to the Audiobook, maybe in a book there is a Family Tree.
