Enjoyable little read. Not very deep...just a quick action fantasy/scifi. I enjoyed the pacifist vegetarian dragon. He added a nice twist to the ordinary-man-turned-hero-in-an-alternate-world yarn.

Another fun little jaunt into fantasy with Jarl, Mizra, Fafnoddle (a vegetarian, pacifist dragon) and other entertaining characters.

This is light reading with not much depth in character study nor ideas. This would be a great series for parents to read to their older children, young adults and other adults looking for something light and entertaining.
