Great fun to read, but may not mean anything.
The author has a grand time extrapolating a child's behavior into adult life in the areas of intelligence, friendship, goodness, success, romance, and happiness. I did achieve my goal after reading this book, which was to feel more confident about my parenting.

I was somewhat disappointed by this book. I felt that anyone who has serveral years of experience in . working with young children can come to the same realizations Mrs. Engel does. I did not learn anything new.
