I got this book for my nephew as a souvenir from Boston. It's contains an interesting array of photographs about Boston people, places, and events, which are grouped thematically (i.e., "the cradle of liberty," "the home team," etc.). I liked it for him when I bought it but in retrospect I think it's a better choice for sharing with a child you are going to Boston with (so you can point out things you are going to see and get them excited for the trip) or who you went to Boston with (so you show more can point out things you did see to remind them of the trip). As a board book, it doesn't really have much in terms of narrative, just photographs with captions. I suppose this makes it fun for kids to look at on their own, but as an adult, you'll have to do a lot of explaining with this book rather than just reading. Not that that is a bad thing, just make sure you're up on your Boston knowledge! show less
Cute board book for young children. It even gives you a page to add a photo of yourself (the child) to become part of the book. Although not a great deal of information is contained in this book, you wouldn't want more for the intended audience.
Filled with pictures from the UW campus life including buildings, dorm life, sports and more. Fun for the offspring of a UW graduate and fan!
The ABC's Seahawks style. this book is great it has great pictures and extra words to use for each letter.
