Why am I reading a book about Obama winning the 2008 election six years later? Am I extremely outdated? Nah, it's because my brother gave it to me, and my brother doesn't read much: when someone who doesn't read much recommends a book to you, it's kinda rude not to read it.

But I liked it. It was very well-written, and Gelin explains American politics in a simple way without being condenscending or using overly simplistic language or metaphors. I also liked reading about it because I didn't show more really give a shit about American politics or Obama up until right before the election (hey, I'm Swedish, what do you expect?), and this gave me some context that I lacked before. show less

Boken är dock före Trump...
