I picked this book up for free on the donated-patterns shelf at my local yarn store, intending to take a look at it and decide if it was a keeper. When I got home, I discovered that I had faved one of the children's patterns over ten years ago on Ravelry. It's an absolutely adorable little duffle coat, well-supplied with cables. There's also a child's cardigan with a heart-like cable on the back, called Listowel -- probably just a charming coincidence, because I don't expect that the author show more would be familiar with the Spinrite mill in Listowel, Ontario that has produced so much of Canada's hand knitting wool for decades. It makes me want to make a road trip to Listowel just to buy yarn for that cute sweater. show less
