I read the ePub version of this book on my Nook, where I picked it up for 99 cents. This is one of the best written pieces of superhero prose that I've read -- and I've read just about everything out there. Fradella is an excellent storyteller and has put together some fantastic stories. My one complaint is there isn't a huge amount of overlap in the characters - the majority of the stories featured new heroes and situations, which kept me from fully bonding or relating to any one of them show more more than the others. I might have preferred if there were more linkage or recurring characters from story to story.
Aside from that minor quibble, I really enjoyed "The Power Within" and hope Fradella puts together more work like this. Great fun, especially if you can get it for that awesome 99 cent price...I'd have been fine paying 3-4 times as much for the book. show less

Odd book of poetry about dead things, hence the title. Also includes poems about other famous subjects such as Jack the Ripper and Peter Pan.
