I read a couple of travel guides to feed my daydreams of taking my kids to Yellowstone in a few years and enjoyed the armchair tour. This guide is good in that it describes not only the National Park, but offers extensive description of fascinating places to visit in the surrounding region. This of course expands my daydreams to what would be a months long visit to Yellowstone and its environs.

A perfectly acceptable travel guide.

I used to have these alternating fantasies. The first was to run off and live with the Amish. That got shot to hell when I learned about Amish millionaires. The second was to run off and live in Alaska. That got all shot to hell when I found out how cold it is.

Gonna donate this. Maybe there's a hale-and-hearty type out there who might make use of it.
