Now this book covers all contact areas including Math. While this book is centered around Leonardo da Vinci getting a second chance and coming back to life in the year 2000. I really like how this book and brings up a really famous person like Leonardo da Vinci and incorporated it into something more modern. I do also love how it has all subjects including history, math, science and reading. You definitely need an open mind to read this book.
I love that this book can be implemented into any content area! Students will be reading about math, science, and art. I love how they brought a historical figure into modern day things. This book is great because it really touches on how what you learn today is something you can teach to others tomorrow!
To illustrate what a forensic scientist does, the case of a paint company accountant's murder is first presented. As the investigation progresses, the authors parallel what is happening with descriptions of the role forensic scientists play, procedures, what they look for in the clues, who they work in tandem with. Specifics include DNA testing, bloodstain interpretation, fingerprinting, ballistics, autopsies and forensic anthropology.
