Diana Friedman

A collection of wide-angle and close-up photographs of familiar rooms from numerous 1970s, ‘80s, and ‘90s TV series. For fun, I leafed through the book from back to front in a game of identifying the sets before the chapter headings and text gave them away. Then I read the accompanying design notes to learn how furnishings and décor were selected to develop story, characters, and theme.

Fictional street addresses and cities are included (and time stamps where relevant, e.g. for The show more Jetsons), and a shopping guide lists resources for many of the featured props. Fun and nostalgic! show less
