This is what television should be. Granted, I could do without the whole 10% of the show spent waiting for a character's name to be revealed thing, and I was pretty disappointed when A Certain Character didn't end up dying after all at the end of the finale, but whatever. Easily the best season so far.

"Candidates" vs. smoke monster.

So very angry with these writers. They took a popular culture icon and crapped all over it. Note to self: serial drama mystery = don't get involved. It's like the whole show has just been a giant practical joke. Not only is the ending disappointing beyond anything I could have imagined, but there isn't even anything interesting that happens on the way (with the minor exception of "Ab Aeterno").
