2024 movie #202. 2022. Fletch is on a case involving murder (he's the chief suspect), kidnapping and art theft. Jon Hamm doesn't have the physical comedy chops of Chevy Chase who originated the role in the '80s but it's an enjoyable film and all the loose ends get tied up.
C+ (Okay)

An asshole is framed for murder while investigating an art theft.

There are a couple very funny scenes that feel improvised. But overall, this is the kind of mediocrity you might expect to be made by people who thought rebooting a forgotten Chevy Chase franchise was the best use of their time.

(Dec. 2024)
If you like watching the kind of neurotics who scratch their fingernails across the chalkboard of your brain, this is the movie for you. Otherwise, pass.
Two geeks give a space-alien fugitive a ride.

2/4 (Indifferent)

A bunch of funny people got together and didn't do anything funny.
