This is a very simple book. It is only 16 pages long, making it shorter than most picture books. The illustration format is very uniform and the text is bold and typed in a simple font. This makes the book appropriate for an independent reader. Also, every bit of text ends with the same phrase “Drip, drip, drop.” This is a smaller picture book, another reason why it would be appropriate for an independent reader or working with a student one on one. The illustrations are “cartoonish” show more making it suitable for a very young audience. Overall, it would be a good book for younger students and/or students who have some anxiety about rainstorms. show less
