As always, an excellent book to have in your library of programming books. Herbert Schildt has a way of explaining the nuance of a language that makes it very understandable. Of course, he includes a ton of examples.
Using this book will make one a very good C# programmer

Herbert Schildt is an excellent author who makes the material compelling and easy to follow. He obviously has a lot of experience both teaching and with the technical subjects he writes about, for he is able to anticipate trouble areas students may encounter and head them off before the student ever reaches them.
Schildt writes clearly and presents C++ in an easily-absorbed format. It's best if you have a background in C and perhaps had a Data Structures and Algorithms course before reading this book.

I wish all technical standards were published in a friendly annotated edition like this.
