There was a book from the 30s called something like, OUR MOVIE MADE CHILDREN. That was me and I love "old" Hollywood novels. I discovered Kathryn Leigh Scott at Malice (and I never watched Dark Shadows) and loved her books.
At Bouchercon in Long Beach, I picked up this book which is wonderfully funny. Maybe it has a couple flaws as a mystery, but they didn't bother me because the author had me laughing so hard. I hope she writes some more books with the same characters. I will buy them.
