This book was intended to be used like a workbook - with a floppy disk included for the reader to work exercises while reading, and to answer questions in each chapter. I like the idea - the later series of "for dummies" books would be much better, in my opinion, if they adopted this active-reader-participation approach. Unfortunately, (1) the floppy is now obsolete, and (2) the text is very confusing in many parts.
Interesting stuff--a scientist and skeptic who never could quiet her mind enough to meditate goes nova-psychic at a workshop at the Monroe Institute. She says the Institute's use of rhythms that induce the same rhythms of altered mind states is both a shortcut and accesses much deeper levels than meditation.

An adventure of a skeptic that turned into psychic thanks to Hemi-Sync technology. Definitely a book worth reading, Caudill is describing her journey at Monroe Institute, but beside her own experiences, she also provides readers with more scientific explanations that stand behind psychic phenomena.

It's a psychic story written by skeptic - do I need to say more?
