A practical book on using wood composite building techniques for boatbuilding. Serves great as an introduction to cold molding and strip planking by overviewing a variety of techniques and ideas. Contains great illustrations and photographs. The text helps readers understand hard to grasp- hard to explain procedures. The organization is somewhat ungainly and disjointed, but this does not detract from its useful as a primer for would be wooden boatbuilders.
