- When 14 years old, Matakovic wrote his weekly schedule at school on shop-windows at Vinkovci. Thus he qualified to become best comics writer of all times at all places. He managed to complete the Academy. His gift of nice painting helped him a lot. His engagement in civil affairs was limited to his comics. The quality of magazines in Croatia is measured by a number of his comics released. He "plays" in rock'n'roll band Septica.

Iako gađenje nadjačave sve ostale osjećaje zajedno, oduševljava autorova educiranost, prosvjećenost, stav i razvoj priča. Mataković je jedini autor ovdje kojem je jezik identičan onom u stvarnom životu. Crtež je briljantan.
