What's great about this book is readers are introduced to the important aspects of jazz. The look, the sound, and even the most notable players. We lean about the hats, the jackets, the blat of the trumpet, and even the sad sound of the singing. We are introduced to Jelly Roll Morton, Satchmo, Billie, and Duke Ellington just to name a show more few. If readers can get past the busy appearance, they will be able to learn important information about the history of jazz.
