To me, there was absolutely nothing remarkable about this collection at all. None of the poems spoke to me, none stood out (few were comprehensible) and many of them were needlessly vulgar (comparing the crack in the ceiling to a woman's vulva? What was the point in that?).
I think it's poetry books like this that have made good poetry fall by the wayside.
Which would you prefer; 80 pages of half-assed poetry for $16 (when you can find much better online for free) or a 300 page piece of show more prose with a story and character development for $6-$19?
If you really enjoy "spoken-word" poetry (whatever that is), give it a go. Personally, I'll be sticking to Poe, Naruda, and Wordsworth.
