A fun curiosity full of one of my favorite things: animals wearing Victorian clothing.
This is a classic and totally overlooked by the mainstream literature folk. Can not understand why, in my opinion he ranks up there with Aesop.
Grandville is a genius as an illustrator and caricaturist but that's just for starters.

French title is better: Scènes de la vie privée et publique des animaux
