The American 'Pike County' dialect in which this book is written makes it a little difficult for a Brit like me to
follow sometimes, but that cannot disguise the fact that this is quite simply the funniest book I have ever read.
A sadly neglected classic! Run (do not walk!) to your nearest bookseller and buy a copy!
