Don't let the format fool you. This is an extremely helpful overview of the ethnographic process as a graduate student could hope for. I rather wish it had been available before I did my own fieldwork. It won't tell you everything you need to know (the list of further readings can help with going deeper), but it will guide you in direction of asking better questions about what it is that you need to know more about. That this is all done with a great deal of wit doesn't hurt either.
