This book reviews the range of current theories about pole shift - the notion that historic climate change may be due to movements in the position of the earth's poles. The very idea may sound implausible, but at least one such theory won the interest and support of Albert Einstein.

White's book is charmingly ingenuous. He democratically gives equal house room to all comers, whether scientifically serious or plain crackpot theories based on alleged and untestable psychic visions. At least he show more grinds no axe! show less
Frontiers of Consciousness examines the full spectrum of consciousness research and is a recognized classic for all who wish to expand the limits of their 'reality.'

As John White statesin his introduction: 'The tools and techniques for the advancement of knowledge and spiritual growth are largely within your reach already.'

East West Journal: 'One thing is guaranteed: after reading this book you will have deeper, sublter understanding of the relatinship between mind and body, and between consciousness and the universe.'

West Coast Review of Books: 'Dispels some of the myths which limit us from accepting thenew realities.'
