This book by Vincent Hendricks and Mads Vestergaard is excellent. For one, they have written the book in a direct style, which contrasts well with other people whose writing is turgid.
The book is fascinating and clearly shows the danger we are in with the spread of digital technology. The authors point out that fake news is not a new phenomenon. However, the risks have risen since the world has become digital and we have moved to the internet. Now, we have misinformation, disinformation, a show more post-factual world, post-truth and a bunch of other concepts that can drive us crazy!
Propaganda is no longer about advertising but is concerned with politics.
We risk losing connection with reality with the barrage of data and impressions. Can we ignore the warning? Yes, at our peril.

The authors have done us a favour: the e-book is free. There should be no excuse for anyone to avoid this book. show less

En selvhjælpsbog til ikke kun at interessere sig for sig selv og ikke betragte livet som en konkurrence om at få mere end kollegaen.
