A blood-sucking serial-killer is on the loose in London with Detective Superintendent Bellaver (Alfred Marks) assigned to the case. In a undefined fascistic dictatorship scheming agent Konratz (Marshall Jones) has unleashed his own murderous campaign. Both sets of murders lead to the countryside estate and research laboratory of sinister Dr Browning (Vincent Price). Christopher Wicking's script is strangely non-linear and convoluted for a mainstream Amicus horror film. The various elements show more seem unrelated and it is never clear where the story is heading but it all eventually comes together in a reasonably satisfying conclusion. Director Gordon Hessler does well in maintaining interest in all the competing elements and is ably assisted by some elegant photography by John Coquillon. The film also benefits from appearances from Vincent Price and Christopher Lee, with Peter Cushing also turning up in a short cameo. Despite the presence of these three horror icons Alfred Marks still manages to steal the show as the authoritative copper with a line in sarcastic black humour. "Scream and Scream Again" is a slightly disjointed film, but has enough weird elements, strange performances and dark humour to be entertaining throughout. show less
Great Ray Harryhausen special effects, fun story, great rainy Saturday afternoon fare.
Germany 1943, a German tank is driving through the burning ruins of an unnamed city. The crew of the tank come across a hysterical woman, crying for her "baby" trapped in a partially demolished building. Ignoring an air raid warden, Porta, Tiny, Stege, Old Man and Sven rescue the woman's "baby" only for it to turn out to be her cat. More wildly improbable situations follow, including Little Legionnaire beating Tiny in a fight, before they are sent to the Russian Front. In their assault guns, show more Bertha I and Bertha II, they launch an attack on Soviet T-34s. Bertha I, commanded by Wilhelm "Old Man" Beier, successfully knocks out a T-34. Meanwhile, Bertha II manage to knock out another T-34 before being knocked out themselves, by a self-propelled gun hidden in a nearby wood. Bertha I is immobilized but still manages to knock out the Soviet SPG, they escape back to German lines on foot, losing only young Pvt. "Freckles" Fredericks.

Back at the German lines the platoon witness enemy propaganda before having a wild escapade at a field brothel, returning to their bunker only to find out they're being ordered on a suicide mission. (fonte: Wikipedia)
