The Heart of a Leader
A Thirty Step Guide to Becoming a Better Leader
by Jennifer Higgins
Illustrations by Jeremy James
Done in a humorous style that definitely caught my attention this 67 page wonder had everything right up front and easy to find. Each point is well made and the descriptions and suggestions were crystal clear. I do truly admire the frolicsome yet firm way the author teaches us to step up to the plate, take the bull by the horns and lead people in a loving and compassionate show more way.
This unique guide is written with career in mind, but I feel that these techniques can be used in a whole bunch of places in my life. I also fell deeply in love with the illustrations, they were the bridge between the serious and the hilarious and my fragile ego truly needed some comic relief at times. I would recommend this book to anyone who deals with people on a regular basis because this little number has something for everyone. Thanks Jennifer, I got it and plan to use it.
