A wonderful collection of short articles by some of Australia's well known contemporary writers.
the subject is Asylum Seekers and some of the stories are heartbreaking. Every Autralian should read this book and question government policies. Unfortunately the book will be "preaching to the converted" and those who should read it, won't.
A little uneven and unlikely in places, and a bit cheesy, but worth a read off of KU anyway.
Read because Necromancer ;) Was worried at the start it would be a little too predictable, but it wasn't bad. Skimmed some of the bloodier descriptions of bodies, but it was written in a way I could do that and not miss important stuff, which is a good thing.
